Courage Leib is the name I chose as my pen name because I felt like I was being courageous in writing my story where strangers will scrutinize my life choices and innermost thoughts. Although it seems less than courageous to hide behind a pen name, I do that solely for protection of my young family. The word Leib is taken from the Hebrew language and means lion. Hence the pen name, Courage Leib implies that I am a courageous lion. Not just courageous in sharing my story, but tenacious in overcoming problems in my life and protecting my cubs.
I never thought I would be writing a book for the world to read, but here I am. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience. And although I may not become a widely known author, it has provided an avenue for my own personal healing. I have come to realize that I have more to share and I’m looking forward to a second book.
